Update of week#5


Greetings everyone,

Finding loaf team here again to tell u what's been going on in our continuous production phase:

in this week we have 2 of the main props modeled ( Fridge and the stove/oven ) since they will be essential for Ed's journey in the kitchen, the fridge works as a disinfectant for Ed to remove any mold he gathered in the level but at the expense of his time limit of course while the stove top plays as an obstacle that will heat up head if he touches it causing him to lose points for getting too crisp.

programming wise, we created a basic template for our ingredients which can move around the level and has a few parameters to control it (wander radius, whether to run towards the player or from them etc.), When touching the ingredient its picked up and the players registers, however that part is still lacking visual representation. we also added a basic wind actor that blows movable characters in a certain direction, this will be used for a fan obstacle. Next week we will begin converting some left over blueprints to c++ after which we'll be able to start working on our point system.

characters wise we are done with most characters but few left to make but now starts the process of rigging and animating what we have already.

plus we have been working on the powerups like double jump and the jetpack, plus we made the heat and cold system for Ed.

for next week the goal is to be done mostly with environments and the rigs for the characters plus having the shaders working for the water puddle and the stove heat
